I thought I would blog about how crazy today has been. First of all, I'm sick; snotty nose, coughing the whole nine yards. I slept 10 hours last night after taking a 3 hour nap yesterday (that's a lot of sleep for me).
I woke up this morning to Patrick telling me that and AT&T technician would be coming by today to fix our internet because it's been going in and out constantly. So me being me, I went and got breakfast for Patrick and I before the technician got here, Bojangles biscuits. After breakfast the technician came by and what does Patrick tell him? I'm glad you asked because he tells him not to worry, it's working right now. What?!?! If any of you have ever had a service from AT&T other than cellular service, you know that if you call with something wrong 10-14 days after a technician comes out they charge you $150.00!!!! The guy was nice enough to give Patrick his cell number just in case it messed up again, which it did. So Patrick calls him and he never shows up. Sigh.
Patrick also had an appointment to take his senior pictures today. We get there and he doesn't know where to go, this is appointment #2 that he has missed. The photographers are probably going to mess up his pictures on purpose. We walked around for 5-10 minutes trying to find it with no luck. So he has an appointment for tomorrow, if I have to hold his hand he will be prompt and on time for this one!
It's crazy days like today that make me grateful for everything that I have. I know it's been frustrating and crazy but I love the life I live. I have a great job, a God send for a boyfriend (even though he has no sense sometimes), and a happy life. I have to remember that there are people that are starving and homeless, sleeping in the cold and rain, while I'm obviously fed and warm. God truly has blessed Patrick and I with an amazing support system, great friends and a wonderful family. Even on the truly frustrating days, I have to remember that!
So I'm going to put my nose in a book and get my homework done! Hope everyone has had a fantastic day!
Much love to all,
Kay
