Preperations!

HELLO FALL BREAK! *phew* I never thought it would come.  Patrick and I haven't seen our parents in over four months. Between school, work, football and life in general we haven't been able to find the time to make the five hour drive back to the coast.  As someone who has lived there all her life, I'm busting at the seems with excitement. I want to feel the sand between my toes and sink something in some pluff mud!

On my way into town I get to stop and see my Godchildren, Raylan and Colton.  I have yet to lay my eyes on Colton, due to the fact that he was born Saturday, and I haven't been able to pinch Raylans cheeks in a while.  I can't wait to see them and take pictures and spend the day Friday playing with them and soaking up each and every minute I have with them. I'm hoping to get there by lunch time on Friday so I can have ample time to not only see them but also my very best friend since sixth grade, their mother.  We haven't had "girl talk" in forever and I miss her! So excited about seeing them on Friday!

My oldest cousin in the ARMY is coming to visit with his two year old daughter, Rye this weekend too. It's been over a year since I've seen him last, and he leaves later this year to go to Cuba.  This weekend we are celebrating birthdays, Christmas and just plain fun of being together.  We're having BBQ, pileau, casseroles, cakes, cookies and all sorts of other goodies.

My sister is also bringing her boyfriend "home"for the first time this weekend.  Poor kid gets to meet everyone all at once. Hope he can handle everything that happens at the party Sunday.  At least Patrick was introduced to them little by little, and he says they're scary enough by themselves, let alone together all at once. haa  I'm super excited about seeing people I haven't seen in a while and meeting new people (probably only a few).

Mostly I'm excited to spend some time with my family.  I miss their crazy, loud, routy, obnoxious, sometimes judgmental, always mental, fun, loving, crazy selves. Each and every one of them have had an impact on who I am today.  I'm excited for everything that is going to happen, and I'll be sure to post pictures of everything that happens this weekend. I know it's going to go by way too fast, but it sure will be worth it!

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend!

Much love to everyone,

Kay
