Hello, are you in there?!

I've come to realize that the people of this world are completely insane and gullible.  You look on Pinterest and people are pinning things that don't even make sense: "If I rub bacon grease all over my legs they will be a smooth as a baby's bottom."  I don't even want to know how many people have actually tried something like that. 

The craziest thing that I see now-a-days, is people literally going crazy over the "end of the world"....  Here is a little history lesson:

Julius Caesar was behind the origin of leap year in 45 BC. The early Romans had a 355 day calendar and to keep festivals occurring around the same season each year a 22 or 23 day month was created every second year. Julius Caesar decided to simplify things and added days to different months of the year to create the 365 day calendar, the actual calculation were made by Caesar's astronomer, Sosigenes. Every fourth year following the 28th day of Februarius (February 29th) one day was to be added, making every fourth year a leap year.

So when Julius Caesar created leap year in 45 BC, the Mayan calendar was already created. According to a few articles I read online the Mayans believed the world started around 3114 BC. That is WAYYY before Julius Caesar was even a fetus.

Since the creation of the leap year, there has been 514 extra days in February, that would mean that the year would be 2013 already.  Take a breath, this world won't end until a higher power says it does.

Don't loose yourself, drink yourself crazy, drive loved ones away, or do something ridiculous on 12-21-12.  God gave you a brain for a reason, USE IT!
